This conscious, lifelike form, which lacks a physical body to adapt to, resides behind the walls of concrete and dominates the net. The Qär was running out of time, and human civilization needed to be restarted in order to prevent its demise. In order to produce cybernetically modified bodies and rid the globe of mutants, the Qär gathers the last remaining souls and their consciousnesses from the internet. These "humans" are tasked with discovering human cells so they can recreate human life.
