MC wants to just run away from the problem at hand but he already tried and tested that ML's score won't go down even if he put distance between them and ML will always chase him no matter what.
ML already figured out that MC is hiding something very important and he has decided to go all these extreme measures to make MC open up.

Tbh I think it's worth a try to confide with ML and they can figure the problem together rather than MC keep repeating the same strategy of running away to avoid the score going up even more 🤔
